Due to innovation in our process and in collaboration with the best partners and collaborators, we are capable of developing/manufacturing a multitude of cardboards, including those with water resistance for packaging.

Recycled cellulose fibers obtained from recovered paper and cardboard cannot be freely used for manufacturing paper and cardboard intended for contact with food. Examples of such cases include those where they have been used to contain chemicals, originated from landfills, or come from clinical waste.

The recycled cardboard we manufacture is compatible with automated packaging machines. We produce interlayers/interlayer/layer pads that are used in automated lines by robots, providing the required solidity and stability.
Additionally, we manufacture cardboard with satin and smooth finishes on the faces for the packaging industry, and we offer personalized finishes based on our client’s usage and requirements.
Does Celulosa Gallur’s cardboard offer special features such as fire resistance, resistance to corrosive chemicals, antistatic properties, etc.?
We manufacture 100% recycled cardboard, and we can incorporate or develop specific properties in the paper with the application of food-grade products, as we work with partners with whom we have developed safe products for human use.
All the products we add to the recycled cardboard are safe for humans, and their purpose is solely for the recovery of fibers in the water from the manufacturing process.
Regarding the price, are there volume discounts or long-term agreements?
We offer our customers who require large quantities at different plants in different countries a regular and stable supply without stock breakages through commitment agreements.

The average time in Spain is 1 week, and in Europe, it ranges from 7 to 15 days.
In the Middle East and the Mediterranean, we can supply the products within one week beyond the vessel transit time. For beverage can manufacturers, there are international agreements on the weights (measured in grams per square meter) and thicknesses of the cardboard and paper used. Our solid layer pads (known internationally as solid layer pads among can and food product manufacturers) are manufactured from recycled cardboard and ensure stability in the palletized product. They protect against compression and crushing while providing safe depalletization for the packager or end customer of our can-manufacturing client.
For example, if our can-manufacturing client were to use corrugated cardboard, when the cans arrive at COCA COLA for filling on the production line, they would not be easily depalletized, causing line stoppages because the cans do not slide smoothly on a surface that is not solid and uniform.
